What is PicoSure?

PicoSure doesn’t require any downtime and causes little to no redness, so you can go right back to your regular activities after your session at Rigor Dermatology & Laser Center. Because PicoSure leaves your skin more vulnerable to sun damage, though, Dr. Rigor generally suggests covering your treatment area and applying a broad-spectrum SPF30+ sunscreen after your session.

How many PicoSure sessions do I need?

Your PicoSure treatment package at Rigor Dermatology & Laser Center is personalized to your specific concerns and skin care goals. For tattoo removal, it’s common to need 4-10 sessions, depending on your ink color. Or if you’re having skin revitalization treatments, you may need 2-5 sessions. Usually, you need at least 2-6 weeks between visits.

While your results after a PicoSure treatment plan are permanent, your skin is going to continue to age. If your PicoSure treatment plan was designed to minimize the appearance of lines, wrinkles, and pigmented spots, Dr. Rigor may suggest touch-up treatments once or twice a year. These sessions can prevent future pigment accumulation and slow down the appearance of wrinkles.
